It's been a bit longer than I expected since I last wrote. My dear Grandma Ros, who along with my other Grandmother taught me to sew when I was very young, passed away on June 16th. Death is not something I will ever understand, but I look forward to seeing her again someday. There is eternity in our hearts. In the middle of all this, I'm quickly approaching the run of Oklahoma, the musical I'm costuming this summer with Cross Community Players. This was the first load of costumes I brought in to sort and adjust - Friends, I do not have a very large sewing room. But things are coming together, most recently an assortment of DIY men's accessories - bowties, bolo ties, an ascot, a pocket square. As soon as I get my hands on publicity photos I'll post again!
The promised second part of the blue oscars dress will be coming soon as well - things have been a little too hectic to get it finished, but it's very close. Unless then, be well and enjoy your holiday weekend!
